Who and Why
We are working in partnership with Avaco to develop awareness for people with disabilities, specifically those with visual impairments. Jorge Navarro is the founder of AVACO. He works in Cozumel to support and assist those with visual impairments. Jorge is also visually impaired and finds that Cozumel and the government there is not very supportive of people with visual impairments or disabilities in general. Our intention with this website is to create awareness that not all areas of the world have the same resources for people with disabilities. We also want to empower people that do have disabilities to advocate for change not only for themselves, but also for others.
